About

After discovering printmaking in college, jason took a short 28-year break before launching himself into the printmaking world once again.

As he began to wind down his teaching career, he wondered, “What next?” After being challenged by his wife to start selling artwork at a local art fair that they both regularly attended, he asked her what he should create to sell.

She said she came up with the idea, and not the details, and he had to figure that out for himself.

After trying his hand at painting (and failing), he created some linoleum cut prints for his two daughters for some unique gifts. When they saw the prints, they loved them immediately. It was then that he knew what he should do: eat dinner (it was a long day and he skipped lunch). Right after that he started down the path of becoming a linoleum cut printmaker. That was in early 2022.

He now tours the midwest, selling his work at fine art fairs and festivals. If you see him, stop by and say hello. He’s nice.
